Gunfire erupted early Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021 at a Macon, GA convenience store leaving one person killed and two other people injured.
As reported by AJC.com, “[t]he shooting happened at a [Food Mart] on Napier Avenue in west Macon.”
13WMAZ.com is reporting, “[a] man was found dead at the scene. He reportedly was shot and killed while sitting in his car in the store’s parking lot…he has been identified as 46-year-old Darryl McCrary.”
Per the report, “a 21-year-old woman was shot at least twice, including once in the head. She was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition…she was sitting in her car when it happened.”
According to the AJC.com report, “[a]nother man was also injured in the shooting. Police said he left the scene and went to a local hospital for treatment, where he is in stable condition.”
The investigation is ongoing.
