A motor vehicle accident in Laurens County, Georgia Saturday morning, October 12, 2019, tragically caused the death of one person and injured multiple others.
As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “A woman is dead and five people are injured after a wreck on I-16 East in Laurens County on Saturday.”
According to the report, “a 2005 Ford F-250 was traveling east in the right lane behind a 2016 Dodge Dart around 7:50 a.m….[t]he driver of the Dart, 48-year-old Rogelio Organista from Atlanta, slowed down because it was hard to see in the sunlight.”
The driver of the Ford “didn’t have time to slow down and rear-ended the Dart,” per the report.
13WMAZ.com is reporting that “49-year-old Lourdes Aguilar…was taken to Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin” but was, sadly, unable to survive her injuries.
Per the report, “[Rogelio] Organista, 14-year-old Bryan Organista, and 64-year-old Cleosas Castro were all passengers in the Dart…[t]wo of the passengers were also taken to Fairview Park Hospital and one of them was taken to Navicent in Macon.”
